Kevin Folliard
I am a college graduate with a degree in English and Rhetoric, and an aspiring writer who currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. Collecing, customizing, and writing fiction are all hobbies of mine that I very much enjoy. I've been collecting comic books since I was twelve when I bought my very first issue of Uncanny X-Men (#328) and I've been hooked ever since! I started collecting figures much later, and truth be told didn't really get into it until I found that I could make my own. Tim and I have been friends since high school ever since I inducted him into the world of fanboy hood and forever corrupted his soul. We got into the hobby of customizing together, which is why we collaborate so much on our various projects, and ultimately why all our stuff is displayed here together. My other interests include theatre, fiction writing, and film. Tim Thompson
I am a college graduate from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Theatre Studies, with a focus on directing. I still live in Urbana, Illinois working as a car salesman, and a part time knife salesman. For obvious reasons, I hope to relocate in the next year to pursue theatre, teaching, or a combination of the two! Like Kevin, I enjoy comics and figure collecting, as well as the fine art of customization. I've dabbled in fan fiction too, but that's more Kevin's area of interest. I've been interested in super heroes since I was a kid, I loved Batman: The Animated Series, the Fox X-Men cartoon, and the Fox Spider-Man cartoon. Some time in high school, I met Kevin. It was all downhill from there! He got me hooked on X-Men comics, and I haven't looked back since. I've branched out a tad from the initial comics Kevin introduced me to, but still stick around that same area, which is the core X-titles, and some offshoots as well. I started customising because I could never find a figure of my favorite superhero Shadowcat, and it's just kind of snowballed from there. We currently concentrate in the Bruce Timm "Animated" style, because of the simplicity and sharpness of design. Some of my other interests include Science Fiction, especially the Joss Wheadon Buffy/Angel universe, comedy animation like Futurama, The Simpsons, and Family Guy, and mostly just having a good time with the people I love.
