Annihilus

One of the Fantastic Four’s more formidable adversaries hailing from the negative zone, Annihilus is a favorite of mine and one I’ve wanted to customize for a while. But there’s no way I’m ready to make a Marvel Legends Annihilus, so here was the perfect opportunity. The base figure was the Batman that came from Hasbro’s “Revenge of the Penguin” four pack. His face and belt were sculpted. The shoulder pads came from an extra articulated JL Batman’s accessory, which was also retooled using toothpicks for the spikes. The wings are kind of an odd choice, usually his wings look more like straight bat wings, but supposedly Annihilus is covered in Armor so I figured the wings could be part of that. They come from an old Mission Masters Batman and articulate on the pegs of the JL shoulder pads. I thought they looked cool and couldn’t resist tweaking his design just a little.
