Count Vertigo

It's getting tougher to find good characters to make for Kevin's DCA collection, and while Count Vertigo isn’t the most interesting looking one shot villain, he ranks as one of my favorites.

The Count is a pretty simple custom; he's made out of an extra articulated Flash, with an extra articulated Batman cape. I used this cape because of the front part, though it probably took more work this way, and didn’t turn out as good as it could have. I heated it up, and partially flattened it, then used Decoupage to try to smooth it out better before painting. It’s still not quite on model, but it was as close as I could get it.

For the rest, I chopped Flash's head off, sculpted over the details, and made the shirt extension and belt out of vinyl. The gun came from a Talia. For the head, I sculpted on the hair, ears, and eye patch, and then painted accordingly. I glued everything together as best I could, be he's defiantly a leaner. If I ever manage to sculpt a good sonic drill for him, he'd probably be able to stand on his own.
