Green Goblin

Here’s another one where we struggled with the recipe, but ultimately his importance to the Spidey Universe drove us to figure it out. Initially I didn’t want him to be out of the same base figure as Spidey himself but when I broke down and tried out it ended up looking a lot more fitting than I thought it would. That base body would be the Mattel Nightwing, but we repositioned his arms and swapped out his hands to make it more unique. The head is the mattel Joker head with a sculpted goblin cap. Again I thought that would look generic and too much like the Joker but painting his face green did a whole lot to differentiate the two characters it turns out (granted its still fairly obvious where that face came from.) The clincher on this fellow is the articulate glider base, which was made from a JL Batman glider, and a ML Silver Surfer base. All in all he looks pretty cool and he pokes up behind the other villains quite nicely.
