Impulse

We made an Impulse long ago, but I was never satisfied with him. I always thought we could have done a lot better job with him, since he was pretty much a repaint of Robin. So when we were revisiting old customs, I insisted on doing this one. I sanded down all the Robin details, sculpting new glove and boot cuffs. I also resculpted his hair, giving him spiker hair. It was originally based on some Dick Grayson hair with a few additional spikes added, but when I heated up the Sculpey, I accidentally melted some of those Dick spikes. So I resculpted those too. I also gave him the bolts from a JL Flash figure, rather than the clunky ones we sculpted in the past. I gave him a fresh paint job, and decided to give him a two-toned red paint job. I really like him now, I’m glad I redid him!
