This Kryptonian Phantom Zone refuge was a delight to customize. I initially was going to just use a Bruce Wayne as I’ve seen many people do, but when I saw the Mattel 2-Pack Batman sculpt I thought it might make him more muscular. The head is still Bruce with the eye piece sculpted on. Naturally Batman’s body was sculpted to death as I had to add the boot and glove cuffs and the chest plate. It took a couple of trips to the store to finally find the right color paint for this guy, but I settled on a rather cool metallic blue-green. After the paint job, the other details were added with marker. Thanks to Tim who did all the touch ups I wasn’t anal enough to tackle, making his paint job look much more clean.
