Joker (Holiday)

Who doesn’t want to spend Christmas with the Joker??? Oh that’s right… sane people. This custom is the Clown Prince of Crime as he appears in the BTAS episode “Christmas with the Joker.” While making these holiday customs for my friends I had to settle for whatever fodder I had lying around, so rather than use a standard BTAS Joker, I was stuck with the Machine Gun Joker. So in this case a little extra work went into removing the bottom of his trench coat and sanding away all the detail of his coat. I then resculpted his Christmas sweater over the rough torso my dremmel had left behind. Since Machine Gun Joker has no hair, I went into my trusty parts bin and found a variety of Joker hair dos I’d scalped off for other customs. The BTAS Joker hair fit on nicely with a little sculpting to make it work. Then I gave him a total repaint, including the face, which I’ve always thought was lacking on this figure anyway (they left Joker’s trademarked dark circles off his eyes, but they’re there now.) Is there a better gift than a psychopathic clown dressed like Mr. Rogers??? The answer is no.
