Killer Croc

By Kevin

To make Killer Croc in his “New Batman Adventures” form I used, believe it or not, a B:TAS Killer Croc. This required more sculpting and altering than on any other figure that I’d done up to that point, but it works rather well. First order of business was heating up and repositioning his arms so he would no longer be grabbing his crotch and beating his chest. Croc’s head was removed and reworked quite a bit, using the same technique we used for the Jokerz Bonk and Scab. However, on top of having to remove the lower jaw, I also had to slice off his forehead and resculpt both. The detail of his arms and chest was sculpted over to give it the sleek TNBA look. I reattached his head at a new angle to make him more hunched over. Croc’s lower half is actually a Mattel Batman, I sculpted his pants and then sliced his toes (Though they’re rather hard to see,) and sculpted where the lower and upper halves connect. After painting and enameling, I drew all of Croc’s scales on with a marker. The only problem with Croc here is that he’s a tad top heavy, and thus won’t stand on his own for long periods of time.
