Mala

Following quickly after I started Jax-Ur, Mala was a natural and necessary custom. I didn’t want her to look too scrawny or thin like most of the other DCU Anmiated girls, so what I settled on was TAS Catwoman’s upper half and TAS Batgirl’s lower half. This made her reflect the more buff look she sported on Superman TAS. Her boot and glove cuffs were sculpted as well as her chest plate and pony tail. It took a couple of trips to the store to finally find the right color paint for this gal, but I settled on a rather cool metallic blue-green. After the paint job, the other details were added with marker. Thanks to Tim who did all the touch ups I wasn’t anal enough to tackle, making her paint job look much more clean. I’m much happier with Jax-Ur than I am with her, but I have yet to come up with a significantly better recipe and I’m glad to have the pair of them.
