Mimic

I was really excited to start this custom, and it was the catalyst for our CustomCon 15 entry. From the top down: Starman head, Atom Smasher body, Killer Croc right hand, Bane left hand, Grapple Batman legs, Killer Croc toes, and of course Hawkgirl wings. I drilled out a hole in his back, filled it in with Sculpey, pressed the wings into the uncured Sculpey to make a peg, and dried it. The feet were interesting, because I didn’t have full Killer Croc feet to work with, but I had some toes left over in my parts bag. I cut off the toe section of Batman’s feet, glued these toes on, and sculpted in the rest. All other details were sanded away or sculpted on, as necessary. I left the utility belt there partially out of laziness and partially out of inspiration.
