Toad

I wanted one other figure to round out our CustomCon 15 entry, and Toad, an original Brotherhood member, was the perfect character to fit. Kevin suggested using the base body of an X-Men: Evolution Wolverine Burger King kids meal toy we’ve had lying around for a few years, who had his head donated to our Animated Wolverine a while back. I sanded away the necessary detail and smoothed him out a little. The head comes from a Batman Beyond Smirk accessory. I modernized Toad’s costume a little bit, giving him gloves and different boots, and making him less frilly overall. The glove cuffs, boot cuffs, and neck piece were all made from vinyl. I really think his short, squatty posture is a perfect match for Toad.
