The Judge

As he appears in the New Batman Adventures episode “Judgement Day.” He’s one of my first intricate customs. The trick was I wanted to be able to give him a removable mask so that his secret identity could be exposed. Ultimately I decided an interchangeable head would make him look better than all of my failed attempts at removable masks. The “Judge” head was made out of Sculpey, with a peg on the bottom to secure it on the torso, and the Two-Face head was given a similar peg. His torso is a grapple Batman, with the sleeves sculpted on and the hands repositioned so he can hold his oversized novelty gavel. The rest of the robe was sculpted. His gaval was an old paint brush cut appropriately with the top sculpted on (I even added the screw holes where the Marshal award attached because, heck, I love that episode!) Finally, everything was painted the appropriate colors. Sadly, the variant Harvey head has been misplaced. If I ever find another Hasbro TNBA Twoface it’s head is going straight to this old custom.
